With a strong passion for singing since the tender age of 5, Ai Jia picked up various classes to enhance every aspect of her performing skills: singing, dancing, acting, piano and guitar with hope of becoming an all-rounded performer.

In 2009, she participated in Singapore’s Campus Superstar 3 《校园 Superstar 3》 and eventually emerged as the overall runner-up/champion in the female category. She was then chosen as a representative of Singapore to participate in Taiwan One Million Star 5 《超级新光大道5》 – as a Player Killer Contestant. She left a deep impression in the hearts of many with her commendable performance, especially after gaining much recognition from the popular and professional judges.

Beyond the local scene, she was chosen as a representative of Singapore for TVB Hong Kong Singing Championship 2012 《TVB 全球华人新秀大赛》 , and was awarded with a runner-up title for her fantastic performance. She has also been actively participating in charity shows like ChildAid 2009, Tong Chai Charity Show 2010 and recently became the ambassador of Lymphoma Leukemia Foundation. She believes in putting her talents to use, to help the needy.

In recent years, she was invited to represent Singapore to Shanghai’s Competition named Asian Waves 《声动亚洲》. She succeeded in gaining the recognition from famous judges and China’s audiences with her extraordinary vocals and perfect rendition of songs. From then, she left a deep impression in the hearts of many and managed to set foot into the China’s market. Moving on, she was given the opportunity to sing the theme song for an international movie titled Dangerous Liaisons and won her titles such as “Singapore’s soprano teenage” and “Little Dolphin”.

Besides singing, Ai Jia was also given a chance to act in Mediacorp’s Primetime Drama Series titled Daddy at home 《企鹅爸爸》 sharing scenes with veteran actors such as Li Nan Xing and Chen Han Wei.

in 2014, Ai Jia, together with four other talents from Shock Entertainment was chosen to be the ambassadors of Huawei华为 and be the face of the brand in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
